From Inverness Airport, head onto the A96 towards Inverness, then follow signs through the roundabouts: at the first exit for the airport, go straight at the second, first exit at the third, and then second exit into the airport area itself.

Continue west on A96, then join A835 and eventually A832, and follow local roads toward Aultbea area and turn off to Birchburn location. Tigh Na Sith should be on your right-hand side.

This is the most direct and often quickest option.
By Bus
- From Inverness Bus Station, take the Wester Bus to Gairloch which departs at 16:10 every Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
- Please inform the bus driver that you wish to stop at the Aulbea Hotel or the nearest stop to it, otherwise get off at the designated stop by Pier Road.
- If stopping by Aultbea Hotel, follow the road up to Birchburn Road and Tigh Na Sith should be on your left after a few minutes walk.
- If stopping by the designated bus stop further into the village, make your way to Aultbea Hotel and follow the road up to Birchburn Road.
By Train

Final leg to Tigh Na Sith:

Achnasheen station does not have a rail link to Aultbea. From the station, you’ll need a taxi or local transfer for the ~30 km west to Aultbea and then to Tigh Na Sith (perhaps ~35–40 min more).

If relying on public transport, ensure your train arrival at Achnasheen aligns with local taxi availability, which may be limited in rural areas.
